Randy Ritter Obituary
He was born in Kingston, August 1, 1963 a son of Raymond and Dolores Kimker Ritter.
He was a lifelong area resident and was a 1982 graduate of Rondout Valley High School. Randy was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Ulster County for the past 21 years. He also owned R & R Lawn Maintenance; and was a member of Rosendale, Tillson Post 1219; Sons of the American Legion and was an avid NASCAR Fan.
In addition to his parents of Rosendale, he is survived by his wife of 8 years, Michelle Ritter; a son, Raymond; a daughter, Nicole; two step children, Michael and Christopher Williams; a sister, and brother-in-law, Jodi Ritter Ashmore, and William Ashmore, of Saugerties. His former wife, Allison Williams of Accord. He is also survived by two uncles, William and Henry Ritter of Rosendale; a nephew, William Ashmore; and a niece, Amanda Ashmore of Saugerties; a grandson, Austin Williams; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc, 2053 Route 32, Rosendale. Rev. Nickolas Miles will officiate. Interment will be in Rosendale Plains Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday, October 17, 2006 from 2 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to be sent to Rosendale Tillson American Legion, P.O. Box 103, Tillson, NY 12486 or to United Reformed Church, P.O. Box 206, Bloomington, NY 12411.
