Robert F. Trotti, Sr., "Bear", passed away on May 30, 2010.
Bob was born May 21, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Patrick and Teresa Trotti.
Bob was a war veteran who served his country proudly. He was also a lifetime member of the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department in Briarcliff Manor, NY.
Bob is survived by his wife, Laurie; 10 children: Teresa, Glenn, Victoria, Stephanie, Robert Jr., Laurie Anne, Patricia, Richard, Jacqueline, and Angela; 11 grandchildren: Tara, Alyssa, Anthony, Julia, Kara, Aiden, Freddy, Gemma, Scarlett, Michael, and soon to enter this world, Emily. Bob is also survived by two brothers, John Trotti of Tarrytown and Richard Trotti of Red Hook.
Everyone who knew Bob would agree he was a kind, generous, loving man with a loud, gruff way about him. He was a wonderful husband and a father who always put his family first. Bob will be greatly missed and always loved by his family and friends.
On Saturday, June 5, there will be a private memorial service held for immediate family. A memorial barbeque will be held at the Trotti residence, 4 Sun Valley Rd., Livingston Manor at 1 p.m., all who are considered Bob's family and friends are invited to help us remember and honor "Bear" at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dr. David Schwalb's practice or the Critical Care Unit at CRMC.

Laurie and family,
Words can not say how I feel right now and I am sure all of you are feeling the same way. I know it has been almost 20 years now since I lived at Sun Valley but Bob was always there when someone needed a hand. He will be greatly missed by everyone.
