Roger D. Ballard of Livingston Manor passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021. He was 80.
He was the son of the late Charles Ballard and Irene (Edwards) Ballard, born on May 16, 1941 in Ringwood, NJ.
Roger proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1965-1975. He then went on to work as Assistant Foreman for the State of New Jersey Parks Department.
He is survived by his son, Chris Wyatt and his adopted family and many close friends. Roger is predeceased by his siblings: Charles and Kenneth Ballard, Betty Day, Cindy Jenkens and Debby Ballard; and nephew, Christopher Pekny.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Monday, June 7th at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758. A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery with full military honor.

Roger Ballard was not just a dear friend we considered him family, he was a very kind and gentle man I tried to help him whenever I could, he always was very appreciative He loved it when we set and looked thru picture albums or just enjoyed telling me hunting and fishing stories, I had a few of my own to and we laughed together. my son and I loved Roger so much, he will be missed.May you RIP Doggie..
