Sandra (Murphy) Mayer

Highland, New York
Sandi passed away peacefully on May 28, 2021, after a long illness. She had reached over 82 years of age. She was a lover of the outdoors and had an affinity for animals like dogs, cats and especially, horses.
She was always there to help the needy and gave of her time willingly. She loved her family and was loved in return.
She met her lifelong mate, Gene, at seventeen, and they were married for sixty-four years, five months and five days. She and her husband enjoyed each other and their days together.
Sandi is survived by her husband, Gene. Also surviving is their son, David, and his wife, Kathie, of Olympia, Washington. Also surviving are her grandsons, Nicholas, of Washington D.C., Cheyne and fiancé Brenna, of Pullman, Washington, and Oni, of Chengdu, China. In addition, she is survived by her sisters, Patricia, of Montrose, N.Y., Susan, of Downsville, N.Y., Joan, of Phoenicia, N.Y., and a brother, William, of Margaretville, N.Y. Also, many nieces, nephews and cousins, survive.
Sandi is now resting peacefully in the Margaretville Cemetery Annex, immediately next to her Mother, as per her wishes. She was a beautiful person with a beautiful soul. She is now loved and will be loved forever more by all who knew her.
If desired, a donation may be made in Sandi's name to your local Alzheimer's Association.
