I worked in Mr. Kravitz' building in New York and was always treated with such kindness and respect. I enjoyed speaking to him when he came by in the morning to pick up his mail and was surprised by the fact that he would always answer annoying questions no matter how many times I asked. I wish to express my condolences to his family. He will be missed.

I just learned of Mr.Kravitz's passing today in the New York Daily News and would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to his family. I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Kravitz while I was employed at the HMV Music Store on 86th Street and Lexington Avenue in New York(now closed). He would come into the store from time to time to shop, and one day I happened to be on the sales floor when he came in and asked for assistance. As it was so long ago, I do not remember exact details, but it came out that he was Lenny's father. Being a big fan of Lenny's, I was beyond thrilled. Instead of being rude, as I would expect relatives of famous people to be,he was the sweetest man, and extremely proud of his son- when he talked about him you could almost see his chest swell with pride. Every time Mr. Kravitz came into the store and I was available,we would talk for a little bit. What a class act!!! He will be missed...

To the family:May God Bless and keep you in His loving care during this difficult time.
