Sylvia Rivers Obituary
Sylvia Rivers of Loch Sheldrake, died on January 28, 2008 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center. She was 76.
The daughter of the late Herbert and Estell Counts Rivers, she was born December 27, 1931 in New York City, NY. She was the widow of Stanley Jones.
She is survived by four daughters: Robin Jones and her husband, Wayne Lewis of Atlanta, GA, Adriane Jones and her husband, Efrem Burch of the Bronx, Cheryl Woodard Bennet and her husband, Sylvan of Loch Sheldrake, and Shantay Jones of Loch Sheldrake; five grandchildren: Kenya Martinez, Steven Lewis, Shanay Conton, Summer Jones, Desiree Lewis; four great-grandchildren: Shakwam Jones, Kense' and Joshei Martinez, and Anazia' Frazier. She was predeceased by 11 brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2008 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Clinton Ave. & Center St., Ellenville, NY, with funeral services following at 12 noon. Interment will be held at the Fantinekill Cemetery, Ellenville, NY.
