Tammy Grimm Obituary

Tammy L. Grimm, a 35-year area resident, died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. She was 41.

The daughter of the late Rennes and Sharon Todd Peterson, she was born September 4, 1964 in Engelwood, N.J.

Tammy was a Nurse's Aide at the Swan Lake Adult Home in Swan Lake. She volunteered at the soup kitchen and the Federation for the Homeless. She had worked in the past at the Center for Discovery.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, devoted wife and a friend to all who knew her.

Tammy was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Grimm, Jr., who died two weeks ago on February 4, 2006.

She is survived by four daughters: Brenda Beach and her fiancé, Dave, of Woodridge, Mickie Damms and husband, Harold, of Woodbourne, Sharon Sanon of Woodbourne and Lula Wormuth and her husband, William, of North Carolina; five sisters: Lisa C. Langeland and husband, Arne, of Woodbourne, Tracie Peterson of Rockland, Paula Peterson of Woodbourne, Robbin Peterson of Loch Sheldrake and Cheryl Gugliotta of Livingston Manor; one brother, Rennes Peterson of Loch Sheldrake; 28 grandchildren, seven nephews and two nieces.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 23 from noon to 1 p.m. at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St., Liberty.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Thursday with the Rev. Robert Hoag officiating. Burial will be with her husband in Rural Cemetery, Grahamsville, N.Y.

Memorial contribution may be made to the American Diabetes Assn., P.O. Box 31160, Hartford, CT 06150-1160.

Funeral Arrangements are by Ramsay's Funeral Homes, Inc., Liberty, N.Y.

There were many words to describe Tammy, loyal, true, classy, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Wife, caregiver but a true friend stands out the most for me.



I will truly miss our talks and your friendship. May God bless you and Andy.
