Timothy Lubitz Obituary
The son of Bernard W. Jr. and Sheree Fredell Lubitz, he was born August 8, 1983 in Newburgh.
Tim interned this summer at the Army Corps of Engineers at West Point. He was due to graduate and receive his Bachelor's Degree this January.
Survivors include his parents, Bernard W. Lubitz Jr. and Sheree Fredell Lubitz of Walden; paternal grandfather, Bernard W. Lubitz Sr. of Walden; maternal grandparents, Melvin and Lorraine Fredell of the Town of Newburgh; one brother, Thomas Lubitz of Walden; one sister, Adrienne Rogers and husband Leslie of Montgomery; two nephews, Andrew and Jacob; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Monday, September 10 at Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 11 at Goodwill Presbyterian Church, Montgomery.
Burial will be in the Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Coldenham Fire Company.
Arrangements were made by Gridley-Horan Funeral Home.

Tim- Our floor will not be the same without you here. It was great to be able to get to know you better the first couple weeks of school. Derek and I will be lost without you here to laugh and joke around with day by day. Rest In Peace Tim. We miss you.

The Lubitz Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Timmy for a couple of years at the Landscape, and over the years I learned what a great, kind,sincere,and generous person he was. I saw his patience with people and his big heart! He will always be in my thoughts and prayers and will Always be a part of my heart. His loving personality has taught me many things and I love him dearly. He left great memories for us to reminisce on. He was such a gentleman. I know that he is here with us, where ever we go and he is watching over us. I am so very sorry and if you need anything, anything at all, let me know and i'll be there.

May the memories of a beautiful service help you remember the special way Timmy touched so many lives. Yesterday was a fitting tribute to a well-loved young man, who was blessed with caring, loving parents, siblings, and grandparents, special aunts, uncles, and cousins, and so many wonderful friends. He was a sweet and kind hearted guy who was always there for his friends. I hope you are able to find some comfort in your memories. I would like to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. Here is a poem that I found to be very helpful to my family when I lost both my Brother & Sister, & I really hope it brings some comfort your way also....
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.

But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all what God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.

Words can't explain how you are feeling.Just know that this huge family is here for you.Matt had it right "Brothers",this family doesn't have cousins,it is so much more than that.Timmy left behind many great memories,and all of us will cherish those memories until we meet again.We love you guys so much,and are here if you need anything.Timmy will never be forgotten.As the poems said there wouldn't be any flowers,without some rain.
