Seeing Vivian at the pool, playing mahjong and just enjoying her company and that of her family was always a highlight of our annual snowbird trip to Florida. I still hear Robert’s question “where’s your boy?” if Josh was not around.
We will miss her but remember fondly our time spent together. Condolences to her beautiful family.

I was so sorry to hear about Vivian’s passing. I loved doing ceramics with her and playing Mah Jongg with her at LOD. She was a special person and she will sadly be missed.

Our sincere condolences ...we are truly sorry for your loss
Downtown NY summer 1983. With my arm on Vivian's shoulder, Beth, my daughter Melissa and nephew Cliff, didn't mind the cool spray of fountain water.

A trip to the Central Park Children's Zoo in 1978. Beth is standing behind my daughter, Melissa, who I seem to have trouble controlling. Vivian very fashionable in her bell bottoms.

Vivian in her apt kitchen, circa 1974. Writing down a recipe for sharing with me, no doubt!

I first met Vivian in 1970 when we worked together on the 19th floor of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel for Hilton International in NYC. She worked in Human Resources, and I was the new hire for the Advertising/Marketing Dept. She showed me the ropes, and we became fast friends. We remained in touch over the next 51 years. She loved her family with all her might and cared deeply for her friends with equal measure. She had so many gifts and talents and was a spectacular cook. Some of my best recipes have come from Vivian! I will miss her smiling face. I will miss her cards and notes. (She never missed a birthday or an anniversary or any chance at all to reach out), but most of all I will miss her loving, generous spirit. My prayers and deepest, most heartfelt sympathies are extended to her dear husband Robert, her devoted daughters, Beth and Meryl, and cherished grandchildren of whom she spoke so often. You will NEVER be forgotten, my sweet friend. With gratitude for your generous love and friendship, Susan Ade and family.
