Marsha Flinn Obituary

Marsha P. Flinn

January 3, 1954 - November 3, 2021

Marsha went home to the Lord on November 3rd, 2021. She was born to Dale and Ina Driggers in Loyalton, CA. Her brother, Tommy, her father and grandparents are greeting her in heaven. While living in the Sacramento area, Marsha met Davy Joe Flinn. Davy played drums in a country western band and Marsha joined, playing piano and singing with Davy. They were married in 1979.

In 1982 they moved to Tehama County. They had two children, Jeremy and Amanda. For many years, the family continued in music at Faith Hope Love Ministries, where Ina is the pastor.

Marsha loved to teach children. She taught at First Church of God, and at Metteer Elementary School. She retired in 2020.

Marsha and Davy have 3 grandchildren, with one on the way. Amanda and Cameron (King) have Margaux and Lachlan. Jeremy and Ashley (Flinn) have Grady, and Rhory due in March 2022.

We will all miss Marsha's smile, and positive influence. Her main goal was to show you Jesus loves you, especially to children. She believed we are in the world, but not of this world. She has finished her course with joy!

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at 1:00 PM, at First Church of God, 1005 S Jackson St. Red Bluff, CA.

My deepest sympathy. I worked with Marsha at Metteer School and always enjoyed our conversations. God bless your family.

You have our deepest sympathy's. Mrs. Flinn was a sweet lady. She was pre-school teacher to both Elly and Stella at First Church of God. She also was the first to notice that Elly had Autism. It was not easy for Beth and I to deal with it but she made it a ton easier. She always asked about both my girls whenever she saw me and delighted in hearing about their ups and downs. And she particular loved hearing about how Elly was progressing and continuing to move forward. She made an impact on our family and we won't ever forget her.
