Grandma Betty I was so lucky to have you and my Grandpa Burt as loving grandparents while I was growing up. I remember visiting you with my parents, Rod & Dorothy and my brother Larry on our trips to California from Oregon. It was always a special treat to visit you on your farm in Redding. You made so many lives special including mine.

May you rest in peace.

Love, Alan Bright

Dear Betty, How you will be missed!!! When I think of you, I think of golf games, cold beers on the porch, and that New Years Eve when you came to my house to party. What fun we've had. You were so loved and will be so sorely missed. RIP

Betty was one of the special people that played golf at Allen's Golf Course. Her favorite tournament was the Father's Day tournament. We called it the Duffer's tournament. Betty had the same team for years. Betty, Cathy Anderson, Bob Silva & Jerry Smith. They didn't care about winning. They just had fun! Betty was always there to help with the tournament. She liked selling the beer on #5 hole. She always helped with the cooking, and cleaning after the tournament. She always had a smile!!
Dear Friend,
I will miss you! And cherish our friendship forever. Your were like a sister to me.

Betty, What fond memories we have of you. You were quite the woman! One of my fondest memories is of my husband and you when he went down and bought an ice cream, came back to your place and shared his ice cream with you. It just tickled you to be able to share that ice cream with Wayne, the two of you taking turns on the same ice cream. You weren't like one of the 'older' folks in the neighborhood, you were more of a friend to everyone. You always had a beer to share with anyone who came to your front porch and was a wonderful source of information with our gardening and animals. You were quite a woman.

Betty,
We were so lucky to have you as our neighbor and friend. You were like a second mom to me and a grandmother to Carrie. I will miss the times we sat on your front porch in the green metal chairs and had a brewskie and just talked about any and everything.
Now, you can sit in Heaven and supervise me from there.
We love you so much!! It is going to be so hard knowing I that we will not have time together.

Love You
Mike, Michele, Carrie, Woody & Kodi
