1960 - 2017
IN LOVING MEMORY OF DAVID MICKELSON. HE PASSED PEACEFULLY ON THE MORNING OF NOVEMBER 7, 2017, DO TO HEALTH COMPLICATIONS. HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS MOTHER (JOANNE MICKELSON), WIFE, CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN.
HE SERVED 30+ YEARS IN LAW ENFORCEMENT AND ALWAYS FELT HONORED TO HAVE WORKED WITH SO MANY AMAZING AND CARING PEOPLE. HE IS GREATLY LOVED AND HIS SMILE AND SENSE OF HUMOR WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.
1 CORINTHIANS 15:42-44
SO WILL IT BE WITH THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD. THE BODY THAT IS SOWN IS PERISHABLE, IT IS RAISED IMPERISHABLE. IT IS SOWN IN DISHONOR, IT IS RAISED IN GLORY. IT IS SOWN IN WEAKNESS, IT IS RAISED IN POWER. IT IS SOWN A NATURAL BODY, IT IS RAISED A SPIRITUAL BODY. IF THERE IS A NATURAL BODY, THERE IS ALSO A SPIRITUAL BODY.

Dad,
I miss you more than words can explain. Life is a lot harder without you. You were my knight, my Superman, my soldier. Nothing was suppose to ever happen to you. I never would have imagined that you wouldn´t be here to see my babies grow and to see how my life turned out. I hope you´re proud of us and what my family has become.
To infinity and beyond, I love you more than life itself.

Big Dave! I'm saddened to hear of your passing at such a young age. I still have fond memories of our 5 months in the California Highway Patrol Academy and then our early road time in East Los Angeles. We sure had a lot of fun buddy! You were definitely a credit to the badge. Rest In Peace my brother!
