My condolences to the family. I was a 4-H member and your mom was my leader or more like it she was a friend. She always smiled and there was never a harsh word even when we got out of control as we often did. I learned a lot from this lovely lady.

My sincerest condolences to all of the family for their loss.

You should take great pride in a woman who gave so much to others.

I was fortunate to be a member of the Lone Pine
4-H club and have to say what I gained there has carried with me throughout my life. The wonderful memories of our meetings at the old school house are forever etched in my mind. Because of this experience I got my own sons into 4-H. My youngest son, three years out of college is a volunteer at the state level. So I can honestly say that Dorothy was a gift to us all that keeps on giving by her example.
