Edward Bring Obituary

Edward Bring

1928 - 2015

Heaven is a much happier place now….we have lost a loving Husband, Dad, Grandfather, and Great Grandpa.

Ed and AnnaMae had 64 years of happiness and built a home filled with love and laughter. Thank you so much for all the joy and love Dad!

On February 3, 2015 Edward L. Bring left our earth and joined his parents and brother in heaven.
Ed was born on January 30, 1928 in Mcville, North Dakota. He graduated high school from Mcville High School in North Dakota. Upon graduation he spent the next two years in the Army serving in Japan. After being discharged from the service he went home and enrolled in North Dakota State University. In 1952 Ed graduated with honors, earning a degree in pharmacy. Ed married his lifelong sweet heart, AnnaMae on August 30, 1952.

After graduating Ed took a position with Currins Drug stores in Klamath Falls, Oregon. One year later, Ed went to work with Payless Drug Stores in Klamath Falls.
Ed spent the next 35 years with Payless Drug Stores, most of his career was in Redding, Ca where he managed the downtown Redding Payless. Ed enjoyed traveling over the years in his fifth wheel but his two biggest passions were golfing and fishing. He was a member of Tucker Oaks Golf Course for over 40 years. He loved spending time with his wife and family trying to catch the "big one" on Shasta Lake.

He was such a kind and gentle man, making friends where ever he traveled…..the love he has for his family will be ever cherished.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Marie Bring and his brother, Dale Bring.

Ed leaves behind his wife; AnnaMae and three sons. Brian, Brett and Colleen, Bradley and Heather.
He also has 8 grandchildren: Rachelle and Briana, Edward and Kristara and Brittany, Brew, Sadi and Samantha. He has 5 great grandchildren; Dylann, Adalee, Kayden, Aryiah and Rhylee. He also leaves his companion dog, Hannah.

Ed was always known for not only his great sense of humor but also for his amazing "memory" of prices. The house he leaves behind will continue to be filled with love, laughter and friendship.

Edward had requested that no services be held; as he wished to wait for his wife to join him.

AnnaMae and family: Wanted you to know that Edward will not be forgotten. I will always remember his big smile and enthusiastic wave as he rounded the corner on his way out of the neighborhood. My children will forever remember him as "the happy guy in his golf cart". Hoping all the memories bring smiles to your faces.

My papa, the most generous and caring man who has ever entered heaven, will forever be in mine and my children's hearts. Though he is gone, I do not cry for I will always know that he did not leave this earth with any regrets. He had a fulfilled life filled with love, wisdom, and many accomplishments that we will always look up to and cherish forever and always. You will never leave my heart, my guardian angel! Love your little white dove.

You will be missed. Your stories will be in my thoughts forever. Always made me laugh. Now my question is, who is going to face the shelves at all the stores. A habit you couldn't stop doing even after you retired. Tell Ruthie Hi from me and go golfing with her.You two will keep them laughing in heaven.
