Fred, I can't believe its been a year since your passing. I still remember with fondness all of your, Denny's and my fishing and hunting trips during our High School years. Last summer several members of my family, spent a week at Butte Lake in Lassen Park. It brought back memories of our hiking into Widow lake several times. Those hiking trips seemed almost like yesterday. Where has time gone? You and Denny were great friends!
God love you!

Fred, I will always remember our friendship from high school and later with the "55" luncheon group, "55" dinner group and the Shasta Woodworkers club.
You were always upbeat even through you had a lot of health problems.
I still like the stories that you always had about your early fishing stories around Redding on the river.
You were really blessed having a loving wife.
Rest in peace buddy. Jim

My Dearest Friend Nancy,
I remember the first phone call of many after your first date with your dear Freddie. I remember meeting Freddie for the first time at the Shack and immediately knowing the two of you were made for each other. I am so happy to have shared with you both your wedding; my trips to Redding; your trips to the Bay Area; and the many phone calls over the years during my commute. You are in my thoughts and prayers my dear friend.

30 years or so ago, I first met Fred when he served me pancakes at the Asphalt Cowboys breakfast. I was with his daughter Tammy and she introduced us. It was always a fun time visiting with the Boone family. Fred was a genuine and good man. I was afraid Fred would never smile again after he lost his Shirley but now they are reunited.
My condolences to the Boone family.

To All the Boone Family
So very sorry to hear of Fred's passing. I hope the memories help you all get through this not so happy time.
I worked for Boone Wholesale for many years. I think we all butted heads with Fred at some time or another, but he was a fair, kind and great man that I will always remember fondly. The get togethers we all had at company functions and then also seeing him at the Shack, Lim's and LuLu's on occasion after he retired. Rest in peace my dear friend.

So sorry to hear of Fred's passing. I worked at Boone's Wholesale (late 60's, early 70's). We had 5 salesmen at the time and were a very family orientated operation. Frank was my "adopted" Dad. Fred & I butted heads on occasion, but was a great place to work. I remember the great Christmas parties, and inventory!!!!! Fred loved to share his hunting stories. He was great with so many of the customers. Ran into him a few years ago, and glad I did.
My sympathies to all of his extended family. RIP Fred.

To Tammy & the Boone Family, we were saddened by the news of Fred's passing, however great memories came to mind about Fred, Shirley and the kids from my early childhood... Fred was so kind to take me fishing & hunting with him even though I didn't know a thing about each, but he got me "hooked" on both! Plus, great times sharing dinners and BBQ's with our family. Fred was a great Patriot, Businessman and Gentleman!!!
May our Heavenly Father embrace the entire family, with Blessings of Comfort, Strength and Peace during this time... Our prayers are with all of you. All the Best, Lou Bortoletto & Family

I met Fred Boone many years ago when I was asked to be a horse entry judge for the Redding Rodeo Parade. Fred was extremely well organized and was very pleasant. He always made sure that the all of judges had a nice lunch after the parade was over.
I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to all of Fred's family.
Sincerely, Brenda Wolf

Tammy, Caitlin and family,
My sympathy at this difficult time. Fred was such a man of honor and strength who inspired many. He had that tough exterior but such a warmth inside. He always gave when asked. I remember going to him needing food to feed our soccer players at the Rotary Jamboree and he didn't even hesitate. When us girls got our CCW all those years ago your dad took us shooting. He made sure we knew what we were doing! My prayers to you and may all these wonderful memories keep Fred close to your heart. Redding has lost a great man and you two the best Dad and Grandfather you could ever wish for. Many blessings

My Dad (Dick Bier) worked at Boone's for Fred and "Grandpa Frank" for most of my life. As a child I remember the Christmas parties that were given for the employees families. The Boone's were always so wonderful to everyone and we all felt like family. You are now together again with your Dad, R.I.P. Fred.
