George is survived by parents George and Mary Lopez, wife Avelina, sons Esau and Georgie, daughters Diana and Sandy. His siblings are brother Gregory, sisters Laura Burgdorf and Dianna Stephens, brother-in-laws Mark Burgdorf and Doug Stephens. George also leaves behind many extended family members throughout California.
There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to the charity of your choice.

Thinking of you George, can't believe it's been 12 years since we lost you and our family has not been the same since then. I know you and Dad and the rest of our family are with Greg now and he is free of pain and filled with joy. It's only been about 2 weeks since we lost Greg and we are upon your anniversary now. Avelina & Family, Uncle George, Aunt Mary and cousins,
My family and I cannot tell you how sad we are at the loss of this amazing guy. I cannot think of him without a smile on his face. I remember even as kids, he was just a good guy. George & I were both the 3rd of 4 kids and the 2nd boy. We played with each other as toddlers, grew up at the same time, have families of our own and keep our family ties close. I don't think either one of us is looking for attention, but we love to have fun with family and friends. I could see what a great dad he was at the 4th Picnics he attended.
And now he is gone and I never told him how close I felt toward him. I wish I would have kept closer to this amazing guy. I can see from comments here and on Facebook that he was loved by everyone. God bless you George and please give a hug to our Uncles, our Aunt, cousin Jimmy, and my Mom. We are all relieved and certain that you are now free and in the best possible hands. - Love to you and your whole family.

I'm so sorry to hear of Georgie's passing. I only wish we all would have been closer. I've only been hearing such wonderful things about your spirit and your life and have seen the beautiful pictures of your family. Well George, today is my first day back at work since you've been gone and it is as you used to say, "no fun." I hate seeing your desk w/o you and your car not in your parking space. Avelina and Family... We are going to miss George working in his yard... he was a very nice man and neighbor..... We wish the best for you all, and remember we are just across the fence, please, let us know if you need anything, no matter what time of day or night.... We will be in contact...
