Jessica Honey Obituary
Redding, CA
Jessica Marie Honey, with her family by her side, passed away after a brief illness, on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, in Redding, California at the age of 32.
Jessica was born November 25, 1983, in Redding, California and was a lifetime resident of Shasta County. She was a strong, fearless, determined young woman that passionately loved her children and her family. Her favorite pastimes were time spent with her children - baking, reading, or, in the words of her son Connor, just hanging together talking about life. Jessica was artistic and loved expressing herself through writings and poems. She briefly studied cosmetology and had a natural talent for makeup and fashion. She also loved music and was a big Guns and Roses fan. During Jessica's life journey she made many friends and she will be missed by all who grew to love her.
Jessica is survived by her longtime partner, Christopher Lowdermilk, her four children - Connor Honey-Delong, Bailey, Brody and Chance Lowdermilk, her mother, Kathi (and Pedro) Rendon, her father, David (and Lilly) Honey, her brother Jason (and Kristen) Honey and their two children, her sister Melodie Honey and her two children, her grandparents, David and Margaret Winters, her half-brother Daryl (and Beth) Sherrell and their two children, as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
A celebration of Jessica's life will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at 12 Noon at the Scout Hall at Anderson River Park. We will share food, stories and love.

I had the honor to know Jessica through my step daughter, Amanda. She spent a lot of times at our house while they both were at West Valley High school, and after she had her son Connor. She had a smile that would brighten up a room. My condolences to her entire family, I am so sorry for your loss.

Jess was so fun to be around. She always made me laugh. She was the West Valley Cheerleader that every girl wanted to be! She was absolutely beautiful inside and out. She was so protective and caring. I'm going to miss her. God definitely gained an angel up there. She will be missed by so many people.
