Julie Rutter Obituary
Julie Ann Rutter passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the age of 50, at her home in Redding.
Julie was born in Redding and graduated from Enterprise High School.
She worked for Ladd Construction Company until 2005, before that she was a waitress at "The Shack".
She was a devoted mother, loved animals and the outdoors. She will be missed by all that truly knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billie Joe Toney who died in June of 2005 and then her brother, Ronald Joe Toney who was killed by a drunken driver on a highway construction site in October of 2005.
Julie is survived by her children, Miranda Collins and Christopher Collins of Redding and her trusty dog "Tater". Other survivors include her mother and step father Joy and William Russell, grandmother Marjorie Keene of Bieber, stepsisters Pamela Grossen of Redding, Sharon Morris of Oklahoma, Connie Russell of Bakersfield and Vickie Dunn of Tennessee, nephew and niece, Timothy Toney of Redding, and Joelynn Grisso of Hayfork, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel, 2655 Eureka Way, Redding, CA. Interment will be at the St. Joseph Cemetery on Eureka Way next to her brother.
