Lorraine Bennetts Obituary
Las Vegas, NV
Lorraine was the consummate volunteer her entire adult life. The Arboretum at Turtle Bay was her joy. She served in many capacities at her church including Child Evangelism, as a devout Born Again Christian. Redding, CA was her home for 40 plus years. Her husband, Russell C. Bennetts, preceded her in death on 10/13/2016. They were married just shy of 65 years. She then moved to Las Vegas, NV where she died. Lorraine was also preceded in death by a son, Russell Craig Bennetts, Jr., and her siblings, Ray, Lloyd, Beverly and Marjorie. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Les) Jenkins, and Elly (Larry) Waibel. Lorraine is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was loved by many and known for, "That smile!".

I miss Lorraine every day. She was a loyal and encouraging friend. We were neighbors and friends for 38 years. We shared many interests together, volunteering in a ministry to children years.
You will always be in my heart. May God give peace and comfort to the family.

Our family was so sad to hear of our dear friend passing. Russ and Lorrrain were long time friends and neighbor. They are both missed very much. I know that daddy Russ and Lorraine are all visiting together in Heaven. And yes Lorraine had a contagious smile that once she smiled very one smiled. You are all in our prayers.
