Michelle Maxwell Obituary

Michelle Marlene (Streeter) Maxwell

- - June 6, 1971- July 25, 2019

Michelle passed away at her mother's home joining her special angels after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Michelle was born in Grants Pass Oregon and resided there until moving with her family to Anderson CA in 1982 where she completed her education and graduated from high school in 1989. She started working at the age of 16 for Holiday market and Safeway- she eventually made her way to Bend Oregon where she enjoyed garage sales, crafting and bunco parties. The last 6 years she resided in Crescent City CA where she loved walking on the beach and the beauty of the Redwoods. She is survived by her mother Allana Dupont and husband Rick, her daughters Brendi Streeter of Anderson CA, Hannah Maxwell of Bend OR, granddaughter Luna Brewster of Anderson CA, brothers Terry Streeter Jr. of Anderson CA and Darin Streeter (fiancee Norma Platner) of Anderson CA, gift sister Brenda Doggett of Central Point OR, Uncle Robert Jones and Aunt Mardi Watt (Husband Ron Watt) of Crescent City CA, and her second mom Marlene Baptista of Bend OR. Along with several nieces and nephews all of whom she loved dearly. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Michelle was a beautiful young woman, inside and out....and she was one of my Daughter's best friend. Now they are together, and having fun just like they did when they were young. I lost my daughter in July, 1989 and Michelle came to her Memorial/Funeral. I remember seeing her, tears flowing and she hugged me so tight. She was devastated losing her BFF... I find so much peach knowing these two precious girls are together and dancing in the heavens above until someday her Mom and I get reunite with our girls and this time, never let go. I love you Michelle...you were truly one of the sweetest persons I know......Rest easy and no more pain. Give a hug to Tracy for me....xoxoxo

I remember her smile the most. Each time I saw her at my teller window, we always shared smiles and friendly conversations. As time went on, and I got to know her and her diagnosis, I would always come out into the lobby and give her a hug before she left. She thanked me for being patient when she had not so good days, but I always let her know to take her time and I was there to help in any way. My prayers and deepest condolences go to her family and friends that were and are blessed by the memory of this wonderful beautiful woman.
