Othal Berry Obituary

Othal Berry, 88, of San Antonio, went to be with our Lord on January 29, 2002. She was born on June 20, 1913. She was a kind, loving and devoted mother of her girls and grandmother to her grandsons and great-grandchildren who were the true joys of her life. Othal was beloved by her family and many friends who will miss her dearly. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Berry and bro-ther, Joe Bartlett. She is survived by her daughters, Tommie Cordes and husband Tom of San Antonio, Maxine Denkeler and husband Glenn of Dickinson; grandsons, Steven Kenn-edy of Uvalde and wife Rhonda, Darin Smith of Houston, Randy Smith and wife Heather of Houston; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Clay Kennedy, and Audrey Smith; brothers and sister, Porter, David and Margaret Bartlett; many nieces, nephews, cousins and very dear friends, Erma of San Antonio, Claudia of San Antonio, Carole who was like a second mother to us. SERVICES The family will be present to receive friends for Visitation and to celebrate her life from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M., Friday, February 1, 2002 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South, 1700 S.E. Military Dr. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2002 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South at 1:00 P.M. with Interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery III. Arrangements with Mission Park South.
