Tyler Wolf Obituary

Tyler Dillon Wolf
May 30, 1992- October 27, 2012

Born on May 30, 1992 in Redding, CA survived by his best friend and father Chuck and mother Kellie Wolf. Sisters LeeAnn Mollath and Megan Swope, Brother in-laws Chris Mollath and Matt Swope. Sister in-law Michelle Swope. Nieces Sydney and Charlie Rose Mollath, Jaycie Swope and Audrey Scott. Nephews Sam and John Henry Mollath and Parker Scott. Grandparents Norma and Jim Woods, Butch Dall, Dave and Kathy Hilde, girlfriend Brie Pearson, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and beloved friends.

Joined in Heaven with his brother Charlie Wolf and Grandmother Sandra Dall. If you could paint a picture of a perfect person, you would see a picture of Tyler. His smile was like the sun, his eyes like the night sky on a full moon.

By the age of 4 his dad was holding on to the back of his go-kart teaching him how to drive around the small track in his yard. By 6 he was racing at the Red bluff Outlaws and received Box Stock Rookie of the Year 1999 at Cycle Land. At 8 years he was winning Pro Stock. At 10 he was racing in the Open Division winning all sorts of awards. At 14 he went through the emancipation process and was approved to enter the world of Sprint Car Racing. He took the Championship at the Silver Dollar Speedway at the age of 19. In 2011 he won his favorite trophy, the Hard Charger Award for the Red bluff Open Class. His most recent win was the 6 foot Pepsi Trophy at the Pepsi Cup Race at the Silver Dollar Speedway in September. This trophy will now be renamed the Tyler Wolf Trophy. Every wall in his home is full of big game trophies hunters could only dream of. Every shelf and corner in his home full of trophies, photos and plaques most racer would die for. Surrounding us now are memories that only one could wish for.

There are so many words to express who Tyler was. If you were lucky enough to meet him you would know how honest to the core he was as well as what a hard worker he was. He was always doing the right thing. He mentored, inspired and encouraged so many. He stood true to himself, his beliefs and his best friend - his Dad. Tyler embodied a true racer, hunter, worker and man. Every second of his life was dedicated to living life to the fullest; on the track, in the field and loving life. Never was a moment wasted. He was up with the sun to hunt, work all day, load and haul hay or cut and deliver a cord of wood, then be back home just in time to get his dad in gear to go racing. Somehow he made time to snag a girl and spend time with Brie. He had the ability to do anything and convince others to do the same. He had the most loving biggest heart ever. So simple, so special, so everything. The best of the best. The most beautiful blessing. An attribute to the human race. Pure perfection. May we live our lives the way Tyler did, so that when we die, the whole world cries and shines for us. Forever our inspiration. Forever our champion.

Join us for Ty Da Man's "Main Event" on Sunday, November 4, at 2:30 p.m. at the SHASTA DISTRICT FAIRGROUNDS, Anderson, CA. We welcome you to wear you Ty Da Man T-Shirts. Camo would be fine too. (NOTE THE CHANGE IN LOCATION OF SERVICE)

Donations may be made at Tri Counties Bank for the Tyler Wolf Memorial Fund; checks payable to Chuck Wolf.

My son, Grant, became best friends with Tyler while in high school. Grant loved working on the race car with Tyler and going to the races to help be part of the pit crew. They also hunted, cut wood and hauled hay together. He has been a huge part of Grant's life. Grant lost his father at age 12, and Tyler and Chuck's friendship has filled a deep void in his life. Tyler, thank you for being such a good friend to Grant. He enjoyed every second he spent with you, and I know you enjoyed and appreciated Grant's help and enthusiasim for racing. You also shared a great passion for hunting. Grant is missing you so much, as is everyone. Tyler, thank you for being such a good friend to Grant and allowing him to share your passions with him. Chuck, thank you for being the substitute father for Grant that he has needed. He loves you dearly. Tyler always gave me a big hug when he saw me and would call me "Mom". He was so cute and loved to tease. He was an exceptional young man. Today we will say good-bye to Tyler, but he will always be in our hearts and will never be forgotten. Love you Tyler.

I just wanted to say that I am sorry for your loss. I lost my oldest son in a car accident a few years back and my heart truly hurts for his mom, dad and family. I never had the privilege of watching Tyler race but lived in Anderson all my life and loved any watching of racing. From what I have read I understand he was a very dynamic young man with a warriors heart. Praying for you all in this difficult time.
