Thank you for being our surrogate dad and granpa. We felt like family because you treated us like family. I'll miss our discussions on politics, your jokes and laughter, your hugs, and even the pinches! Watch over Mema! Love you bushels and pecks and hugs around the neck as she would say, Lori and Family

Brevard County lost one of its icons with the passing of Vic Osman.
I had the pleasure of knowing Vic most of my life. I met Vic, who was a friend of my father when I was 12 years old. He was a larger-than-life man. He was a member of the Eau Gallie Yachtclub at the same time my parents were members. I remember thinking at the time he was kind of Brevard County royalty amongst the men of his generation! He was truly an amazing man. I had the pleasure of living right down the street from him when I was in high school. Even flipped a brand-new pickup truck into the ditch on Lake Washington Road practically in front of his house! To which he called the wrecker from his dealership to come pull my truck out of the ditch and assured me that everything would be okay as long as I was okay. Vic was an amazing, kind and gentle and yet tough man at the same time and I'm glad to say that I had the privilege of knowing him.
Vic will be greatly missed in the community by all of us who knew him.
My prayers go out to all his family

I will never forget the beautiful Christmas display that Mr. Osman would so proudly set up each year on the showroom floor. Children from all over Brevard County would come to see it, and get a chance to sit on Santa's lap. Mr. Osman was most certainly a charitable soul, who will be missed by many. May your memories of him bring you comfort.

Past Commodore Osman was a great man and will be dearly missed around the Eau Gallie Yacht Club. He joined our ranks here in 1972 and provided dignified service and friendship to all. May the Osman family be blessed with wonderful memories of the time spent with him. God Bless you all,
