Zachariah Patnaik
August 18, 1940 - February 2, 2013
Zachariah Patnaik went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 2, 2013.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at 1:30 P.M. at First Baptist Church, 1959 Eureka Way, Redding, CA.
Zac was born in India on August 18, 1940. He served as honorary pastor of the Howrah Baptist Church, Kolkata, India for more than 20 years.
He owned and operated Automatic Controls in Kolkata and he was actively involved with the Gideons
International as well as many other organizations. He was a greatly loved and respected teacher, friend, helper, and mentor.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Conica Patnaik, Children: Rajiv (Kelly) Patnaik and Ritika (Jeremy) Taylor; 10 grandchildren; sisters: Patricia Huish, Kumila Jadunath, Sushila Patnaik and Rajini Patnaik;, sisters-in-law: Sonia Patnaik and Raquel Patnaik, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by his brothers: Theo Patnaik and Obediah Patnaik.
In lieu of flowers, you may honor Zac by making a contribution to the Gideons International, P. O. Box 140800, Nashville, Tennessee 37214-0800.
