Marlin Francksen Obituary

Marlin Edward Francksen, Sr., 82, Cape Fair, Mo., formerly of Center Point, passed away on Tuesday July 19, 2022.
Marlin was born Oct. 19, 1939, in Merrill, the son of Werner and Margaret (Trometer) Francksen.
Survivors include his wife, Vergie; children, Pamela Mills of Boonville, Mo.; Kimberly Burgett of Ankeny; Marlin Jr. of Olin; Kristyn of Marion; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; step-children, Rick Freeze of Tampa, Fla.; Charlene Jackson of Hallsville, Mo.; and Lisa Wyssbrod of Switzerland; and nine step-grandchildren.
Marlin is preceded in death by his parents, Werner and Margaret Francksen; and Carol Francksen.
A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home in Red Oak. A funeral service will take place at noon immediately following the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the American Cancer Society. Remembrances and condolences may be shared with the family at sldfuneralhome.com.
