Dear Joe & Family: I just learned of Camilla's passing from Louis Taft. I am shocked & grieved over your loss. I met Camilla at a Christian conference in Greenville several years ago. We immediately liked each other, and she made the Immersion Weekend exceptional for me. We continued to communicate by email from time to time, but I never saw her again on this earth. I expected to, I think. Now, she has gone ahead of us. Though we grieve here, knowing she is with the Lord makes eternity even richer for me. Not only will I see Jesus face to face. I will see Camilla as the Lord has prepared her for all eternity: beautiful, vibrant, ageless, forever strong & joyous. I will be praying for you and your family, Joe. May the Lord comfort you during this season of mourning. May He make His Face to shine upon you and give you His peace that passes all understanding. In spite of missing her, it makes me smile to realize Camilla is now among that "great cloud of witnesses" who are praying & contending for us to " fight the good fight" and remain faithful as she did.

Joe and Family, our hearts grieve with you over your loss. I remember Camilla as a beautiful young wife with her first baby and how happy your little family was. I dearly loved her parents since I lived with them during my junior and senior years at ECU. This is how I came to know Camilla. Our paths didn't cross often after that but I was always glad to hear news of her. She touched so many people with her devotion and grace.
