Mrs. Styron and family,

I'm so sorry to see that Charlie has left us. I used to see him at Oakmont Heath Food probably once a week, for most of the time he was working there. We had the best conversations, about food, health, and just life in general. Most of the time when I walked in the front door, if he wasn't waiting on a customer or on the phone, he was reading a book about health, just as you say here. Then Oakmont closed up, sadly -- he called me at home one day to let me know that was happening, so I could come in and get stuff during their going-out-of-business sale. Afterwards I'd run into him at Publix. One time I was in the store and there he was, walking along with Mike Joyner. Then 4-5 months ago Charlie, Mrs. Styron, and I talked for a few minutes in the parking lot; of course I had no idea that it would be for the last time. He was a great guy, and I'll miss him, as you certainly already do.

Prayers for strength to deal with his passing.
