Cornelius Jenkins Obituary
Pastor Jenkins was the proud father of seven children, Antonio "Tony" of Atlanta, Anthony "Andy" of Greensboro, Milton of Tennessee, Cornel "CJ" of Greenville, Cornelius 3rd "Cookie" of Washington, DC, Tiffany "Tiff" of Pennsylvania and Sheldon of Maryland; a host of grandchildren; four brothers, Juarez Gainer of Newark, N.J., Dennis House, deceased, Willie James House "Buck" of Dillon, S.C. Stuart Jenkins "Billy" of Greenville; and three sisters, Rosa Mae House Pippen Harris "Sis" of Greenville, Louise M. Jenkins "Agnes" of Greenville, Gail Y. Jenkins Hooker of Greenville. He was blessed with the love of numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Internment will be held in Delaware at New Castle County Veterans Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, Del. at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, with a service immediately afterwards at Hilton Hotel, 100 Continental Drive, Newark, Del. In lieu of flowers, please forward all donations in memory of Pastor Jenkins to Delaware Hospice: donations: 855-344-4483, email: delawarehospice.org.
Celebration of life service for family and friends who cannot participate in the Delaware services will meet to remember Pastor Jenkins, Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, 1 p.m. at Conetoe Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 200 S. Railroad Street, Conetoe, Pastor Richard Joyner and choir presiding. Repast/Fellowship afterward in church dining hall. In lieu of flowers, donations will be collected to thank the church in memory of Pastor Jenkins.
On Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, starting at 7 p.m. family and friends are invited to meet at the home of Gail Hooker and Louise Jenkins on 2717 Webb Street, Greenville. A light meal will be prepared.

To Tony, Andy, Cornell, Cookie, Milton, Tiffany and Sheldon. May it be some comfort in knowing that your dad is resting now with the Lord. I can't help but think that he must be in Heaven with Grandma, my dad and so many more family members. May God continue to bless each of you and the rest of our family. Love you.
