Edith Cannon Obituary

Edith Carol Cannon, 71, of Ayden, went home to be with her heavenly Father on February 23, 2015. Carol was born on June 12, 1943 in Pitt Co., NC to Johnnie and Juanita Williams Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Cannon; her parents; one sister, Marie Stancill; one brother, J.M. Brown and a granddaughter, Caroline Lynn Buck. Carol was a loving Christian mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a longtime member of Community Baptist Church and was a faithful prayer warrior. Carol is survived by her two daughters, Donna Coltrain and husband, Danny, of Ayden and Tracy Buck and husband, Gene, of Greenville. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Dana and Callie Coltrain and Katelyn Buck. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday February 26th at 11:00am at Community Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Estates. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6-8pm at Farmer Funeral Service-Ayden. Flowers are welcome or Memorial Contributions may be made to Community Baptist Church, N.E. College St. Ayden, NC 28513. Arrangements by Farmer Funeral Service-Ayden
