My thoughts and prayers go out to Frankie and Kristen's family-- it is never easy to lose someone, but it is wonderful to see that Frankie was so well loved and cared for by so many people. I didn't know Frankie personally, but we both loved Pirate Radio, and everytime he heard me call in, he would tell Kristen to tell me that he heard me on the air. That was really nice considering he didn't even know me personally. I wish that I had gotten the chance to meet him, I know that he was a special person. Rest assured he is an angel looking down on his friends and family and though he's gone in body, he will always be here in spirit.

I am sure you don't remember me, but you met Jimmie and I at Wendy and Kevin's several years ago. Unfortunately, I did not get to know either of you very well, but I can say that his outgoing personality left an impression on me. I can't imagine your lost, but my heart breaks at the thought of it. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that God touches your heart and eases your pain. Take care and God bless.

Frankie Peaden was one of my best friends in high school. After reading the entries both here in the guest book and in the articles in the Daily Reflector online, it just goes to show how loved and respected he was. I know I will always have fond memories of a man that always had a smile on his face and a song in his heart. My sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathies go out to the family. Frankie, we love you man!

Dear Kristen,
It was a great honor and privilege to have known your husband. Frankie never ceased to have a smile on his face and a positive attitude. We laughed at the Dogwood Festival last year about the last time we had seen each other. I was doing an internship with the Pitt County Schools in 2000. I had gone into the bathroom at the school and there was Frankie working on something. We both asked each other, "What are you doing in here?" I am so sorry for your loss. We pray that your cherished memories will continue to bring you comfort in the days and months ahead.
Most sincerely,

Few of us have the seemingly effortless ability to brighten the days of others. Few can inspire those around them to see the best in life, and live with a bold smile. Few are able to sing their way though whatever life brings their way. For the some 26 years I have known Frankie, this was who he was. His irresistible, contagious and joy-filled smile helped us all have a spring in our step and a lighter load to carry. While our journeys had led us in paths that no longer frequently crossed, it is heartwarming to know that the Frankie I grew up with is the same one that so many were continuing to know and experience. My heartfelt prayers to each of us, especially the family, as we immensely need the supernatural peace and comfort that only Christ can provide. May we, despite our pain and loss, all keep singing, just as Frankie encouraged us to.

I work with Kristen and only had the opportunity once to meet Frankie once when Kristen first started working at ECU and he came out there to meet everyone and she introduced him to me. It was just a brief hello but it stays in my memory because he offered a big smile and a warm hello. Everyone that did know him and has said the most wonderful things about him and I wish I have had the chance to have gotten to know him because he sounded like such a wonderful, warm hearted person and those are hard to find at times. For those that knew him well and especially for Kristen, his wife, it was quite evident they shared a wonderful marriage and he had offered warm friendships to all of those he knew .Words just can't express my deepest sympathy for everyone that knew him and for his family. My most sincere thoughts and prayers are with you all and my God lead you through this difficult time and know that only he knows why and Frankie did so much on earth and now God needs him in heaven. I have no doubt he is in peace and will be looking down from Heaven to watch over all those that he loved and will be a guiding spirit and Angel to live in your hearts and memories forever. The news shocked me to the core because you never expect or are prepared to hear such heartbreaking news. I wish everyone that misses him much peace during this difficult time but know in spirt and memories, Frankie will never leave and will always be with you in your hearts. I wish more than anything there was more that I could do.

Dalton and Margie,
I am so very sorry to hear about Frankie. Don, Rusty and I had not seen Frankie but maybe 2 or 3 times over the years since our days at the Maintenance Department in Winterville, but I knew he would grow up to be a fine young man and I was right. What a legacy he left behind.....To be so well loved and respected not only by family, but co-workers, friends, and virtually total strangers. There aren't many people in this life that can accomplish that in a whole life time, but Frankie did and for that you can be very proud.
Put your sorrow in God's hands. He will give you the strength to get through this. May God Bless both of you!

Frankie was like a Teddy bear that gave love and support to us all for years. He was always ready to fill the part to make someone elses life easier or happier. Playing Santa in plays at school, to giving you a ride home from school or work, Frankie was there. To know him was to love him, and his friendship was never doubted. With a smile that could light a room and the voice that give you chills. God did not bless me with a biological brother but I do not think God could have given me a brother to have shown me as much love as Frankie did growing up. He will be missed greatly, but I promise he will NEVER be forgotton! Kristin , I am so sorry for your loss, words can not ease your pain and all the hugs now will not dull the ache, but please take some pleasure in knowing how much he was cared for and loved. I hope that you know how much you and Frankie are loved and you are not alone. All you have to do is call and any of us will be there, to help you ANY way we can. We love you very much.
