Helen Weaver Wynne WILLIAMSTON - Mrs. Helen Weaver Wynne, 80, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Tom Goebel officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Wynne was born on May 16, 1927, in Martin County the daughter of the late Jesse Frank and Minnie Harrison Weaver. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church. On June 15, 1945, she married George C. Wynne who survives. Survivors in addition to her husband are sons, George C. Wynne Jr. of Winterville and Gary W. Wynne of High Point; daughter, Gina W. Economides of Charlotte; sisters, Alvareta Mizelle of Williamston and Lorene Mahler of Richmond Va.; grandchildren, Molly Muise, Sarah Elizabeth Wynne, Christopher Peyton Wynne and Zoe Marie Economides; and a great grandchild, Madison McKenzie Muise. The family will receive friends tonight from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 101 E. Roosevelt Drive.
