Jerry Creech Obituary

Jerry Elmond Creech CLINTON - Mr. Jerry Elmond Creech, 68, of 1816 Keener Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009 at his home. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at Mary's Chapel Baptist Church, 2230 Keener Road, Clinton with Dr. James G. Knox and the Reverend Jerry Parsons officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park. Mr. Creech, born in Johnston County, was the son of Eunice Johnson Creech Pope and the late Ollie Edmond Creech. He was a poultry producer and a member of Mary's Chapel Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carolyn Lewis Creech, of the home; a son, Richard Creech and wife, Lara Caldwell Creech, of Wallace; a daughter, Lynn Creech Braxton and husband, Joey, of Greenville; his mother, Eunice Johnson Pope of Clinton; two sisters, Barbara C. Eanes and husband, Kenneth, of Clinton, and Joyce Creech Pulley of Pine Level; four grandchildren, Caitlyn and Wesley Braxton, Rance and Mary Kellan Creech. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and other times at the home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.crumpler-honeycutt.com.
