Kathleen Capps Obituary

SNOW HILL - Ms. Kathleen Butts Capps, 69, passed away Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, at Greendale Forest Nursing Center in Snow Hill. Born June 17, 1942, she lived much of her life in Greene County and was reared by Paul and Pattie Butts, whom she considered as her parents. Ms. Capps was a retired seamstress and a member of Jerusalem United Methodist Church.
Funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Sunday, at the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service with the Rev. Al Sullivan officiating. Committal service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, at the Snow Hill Cemetery.
Ms. Capps is survived by her daughters, Angela Ginn of Clayton, Patricia Patton of Snow Hill, and Jackie Bryan of Spokane, Wash.; a special friend and caregiver, Jan Benson of Snow Hill; grandchildren, Tennille Pearson, Bobby Ginn, Dale Moore, David Ginn, Erin Ross and Gabriel Bryan; and great-grandchildren, Hailey Pearson, Madison Pearson, Caleb Ginn, Leah Moore, Lilly Moore, Gaven Ross and Elizabeth Ross.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Sunday and other times at the home of her daughter, 732 Wheat Swamp Road, Snow Hill. Memorials may be made in her memory to Gideon's International, PO Box 154, Hookerton, NC 28538, or American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834. Angela, Patricia and Colleen
I was saddened to read the obituary for your mother today. Sorry I did not know in time for the funeral. I spent a lot of good times with you guys growing up and your Mom was the best. Time goes by so fast. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for your family.
