Kenneth Russ Obituary

Kenneth Paul Russ Kinston - Mr. Kenneth Russ, 83, went home to be with his Savior on Thursday, January 5, 2023. A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday at 2:30 PM in Pinewood Memorial Park, officiated by Pastor Tim Butler. The family will receive friends at the cemetery prior to the service beginning at 2:00 PM. Mr. Russ was the son of the late George Murdie and Alma Harrellson Russ. A native of Whiteville, NC, he lived most of his life in Greenville. He owned and operated Ken Russ Pest Control for 20 years, until his retirement in 2003. In addition to his parents Mr. Russ was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Elizabeth Jean Russ, and a daughter, Barbara Jean Russ May. He is survived by two daughters, Sue Russ Cannon and husband Jack of Ayden, and Donna Russ Smith and husband Mark of Winterville; grandchildren, Jessica Boyd Wilkins, Richard Smith and wife Sarah, and Mary Beth Lamas and husband Christian; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, LaylaAnn, Johnnie, Liam, Ezra and Grady; and a brother, Sherrod Russ.
