Lisa Stanley Obituary

Lisa Diane (Coltrain) Stanley
GREENVILLE - Lisa Coltrain Stanley passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025 at 3:30pm, surrounded by her husband and family.
Lisa was born to Audrey and Larry Coltrain on September 11, 1967 in Windsor, NC. She attended Manteo High School and graduated from Pitt Community College with an AAS degree in Nursing. She worked as a PEDS ICU nurse for 16 years, priding herself in excellent patient care. Lisa married Johnny Stanley on May 10, 2007, spending 30 years as partners in life and love.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Larry Coltrain and her grandparents, Wilford and Hilda Lee and Leslie and Dorcas Coltrain. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Stanley, her mother, Audrey Lee, her sisters, Lorri Coltrain Stanley, and Jessica Weatherly, her brothers, Brian Weatherly, Josh Coltrain and stepfather, Bob Weatherly. Her nieces and nephews held a special place in her heart, Sage Jones, Carson and Kami Stanley, Carson, Reid and Archer Coltrain. Lisa also had two friends that she loved dearly, Renee Dawson and Jane Meads.
Lisa enjoyed cooking and hosting family gatherings and celebrations immensely. She was an excellent cook and never cooked without sharing. She loved to travel with her love, Johnny and her fur babies, Buxton, Page and Callie. Lisa was an Outer Banks girl and loved to search for sea glass on the beach while her dogs would run. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she enjoyed decorating her home, transforming it into a Christmas Wonderland. However, she received the most joy planning family gatherings and finding reasons to celebrate. Lisa was an amazing wife, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, sister-in-law and aunt and will forever be remembered by her family and friends.
There will be a Memorial Service held to celebrate Lisa's life on May 18, 2025 at 2 o'clock pm at Grace Church, 3551 Charles Blvd, Greenville, NC 27858.
