Tina and Family,
Here is a poem that helped me when I lost my son at the age of 2 1/2 in 1988.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

The Lord and this poem helped me with my loss. Yes, I still grieve, but I know I will see my son again. Losing a loved one especially a child is not easy. But with God, He will get you through this. If there is anything I can do to help, please contact me anytime. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
God bless you all,

To the family of Macy Winslow;
Our prayers are with you during this time in your lives. May God continue to bless and keep you. I have heard from my children that Macy was a very good girl in school and did not cause any trouble. Maybe others will follow her footsteps as they attend DH Conley. Macy has laid the foundation and now it's up to her peers to follow therein. Be encouraged, Because God is with you. He promised in His word that He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you! Take Him at His word. GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS TOWARDS YOU!
God Bless You, The House Family

Remember
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

To James and family, We remember taking Macy to her friend's house one day when we left your office. She was so pretty and nice. She seemed a little quiet because she did not know us well. We thank God for that opportunity to get to know her. She was adorable and precious. Sometimes we don't understand why, but trust that she is in the presence of God. One day you will see her again. To the winslow family i am so srry for you lost i had the pleasure of meeting macy about 8 yrs. ago we first met in orchestra class at wintergreen int. and where neither one of us could play a note then later in the 8th grade we traveled all the way to Orlando Flordia to play in a concert. Then we took a big step and tried out for the D.H.Conley cheerleading team and we made the team there were many laughs and fun times shared on that cheerleading squad. I will never forget her always saying okay yall lets hit this stunt and yall better not drop me. 9th grade year she was always afraid to try new things as far as being a flyer but i must say 10 grade was way different she was always tryin to find new cool things to do in the air to win those comepetions and she was givin the nick name mrs. varsity. Macy will truely be missed by all the girls that had the opportunity to cheer with her i for one will miss callin her my lil macy poo!!

Tina,
I was so heartbroken when I heard this. It has been such a long time since you have seen me but you worked as my secretary many moons ago at the courthouse. We managed to see each other from time to time but I had not seen you now for a couple of years or so. Know that my heart goes out to you and the family and that God will provide the strength you need because no one else can. God knows how to heal broken hearts, that's his business and he will never fail you. I love you sweet lady and may you find comfort in the near future. Know you are being prayed for.

This is a little poem that my husband and I wrote for Macy. She was a real good friend of my sisters and I knew her as well.... RIP MACY ALEXANDRA WINSLOW, we love you and we know we have a new angel watching over us.
A new day has come and a old one has passed and with its passing someone we love very much has passed with it. We mourn, we cry, and we hurt from the loss of a soul so pure and rich, filled with greatness. So filled with love and happiness, so caring and unselfish in her ways. Innocent to the fate that bestowed her at such a young age. We ask the Lord why when there are so many other evils that should be vanquished but are still here, while one of Earth's precious angels has been sacrificed in hopes to save a thousand others. That is how is works with God, so there is no answer for why, that will satisfy the urge of wanting to know. It is God's will and it has been done. All that knew her, loved her and will miss her. Just know that we have the power to help Macy live on forever. In our hearts, in our souls and in our minds. Let us grow, and let us remember her always, then, now and forever. RIP MACY ALEXANDRA WINSLOW.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Tina, Gloria and I were totally devastated to see the news of your daughter in the paper . Coupled with the relationship of your Daddy and Mother to me and you being my cousin and knowing you since you were a little girl , it has really torn our heart . I can only imagine what you are going thru.
We didnt know who the girl was in the picture at first and Gloria said "that looks just like Tina ". She truly was your picture . You were such a good girl growing up . I know God will see you thru this tragedy . Always know you will see Macy again . Know that Johnnie Lee and Ernestine have welcomed her into their arms to be with Jesus forever .
Gloria , I and the boys love you very much and will keep you and your family in our prayers .Just remember as long as you have and keep the memories of Macy in your memory she will always be there with you till you are reunited with her in heaven again . Love you , Duane
