Michael Cobb Obituary
He was the husband of Deborah (Landy) Cobb.
Born in Falkland, N.C., a son of the late Hardy and Frances (Little) Cobb, he was an Acton resident for 14 years, previously living in Maynard, Mass. He was an electrical engineer for the Raytheon Co. in Andover for 30 years. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He also received his electrical engineering degree from East Carolina University.
Besides his wife and daughter, he leaves another daughter, Sarah Beth Cobb; two sons, Brian and Kevin Cobb, all of Acton; and a granddaughter, Clara Michelle Franck; a brother, Jeff Cobb of Greenville, N.C.; and two sisters, Lisa Garrett and Cindy Buck, both of Falkland.
Calling hours will be from 1-3 p.m. Sunday in the Monahan Drabble Sherman Funeral Home, 230 Waterman St., Providence. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. A local memorial service will be announced at a later date.

To Jeff,Cindy, Lisa and all the extented Cobb family, sorry to hear of Mike's passing .To Mike's wife and children my deepest sympathy. I met Jeff's and Mke's wives at Mrs. Cobbs passing a few years ago.. The Cobb children and their Dad Hardy took really good care of mom. I have fond memories of playing and growing up with the Cobb children. I salute Mike Cobb, "Semper Fidelis"

I am grieved at the passing of Mike. We attended High School together. I admired him for his sense of humor and he had a brilliant mind. May God be with your families during this time.

Just like Lenny, I to will always
remember Mike, we hunted, fished,
and chased together, a great athlete,
and friend! For our entire senior year
Mike, Kelly Witherington, and myself
were in downtown Greenville every
friday and saturday night, we drank our
first beers together {long-neck Buds},
3 each, and Kelly drove us home. Scored
our first pick-ups and played baseball
together. I will never forget when Mike
told of us his plans to go into the usmc after graduation, Kelly and I both
tried for 6 weeks to talk him out of it!
He left and for 2 more years Kelly and I were partners. I mourn the fact that
Kelly, Mike, and I will never re-unite
just one more time, both Mike and Kelly
are gone now and our new aquaintences
just aren't friends.
WE just can't even imagine what you and
family's grief must feel like!

Mike,I remember every baseball and football we wore out in my back yard in Falkland. It really seems like yesterday when you, Kelly and me were going to Greenville on his "57".I also remember every hunting season when the dove population would suffer from our "eagle eyed shooting". I will miss you my friend.

I worked with Mike for over 20 years. He taught me a lot. Words cannot convey the sadness I feel at his passing. He is and will be greatly missed.
