Patrick Allen Ham

Patrick Allen Ham, 20, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012. He came into our lives on March 17, 1992. He was born on St. Patrick's Day, hence the name Patrick. His middle name Allen was from his uncle Gene whom he loved a bunch. Patrick entered the world with all his family rooting for him. He was born into a world of love and made each of our lives richer.
Patrick was artistic in his thinking and his creativity. He could dance toe to toe with Michael Jackson. And for a good cause, he could be "Patina" "inside family joke." He could sketch anything his eyes saw. Patrick had a wonderful personality and sense of humor. He was truly a style all his own. Patrick loved family. He never missed a family event ever in his 20 years. We made lots of wonderful memories! Patrick would clean flower beds for his Grannies, barns for Aunt Katey and under decks for Aunt Susie. Patrick would do whatever was asked of him.
Patrick could decorate a church with the best of designers.
Patrick is survived by his mother, Serena Holt; stepdad, William Holt, and Skylar Holt of the home; father, Louis Ham and stepmom, Toni Ham; half-brothers Mitchell and Justin Hardy of Ayden; stepbrother Michael Nelson of Grimesland; stepsister, Heather Nelson Martin; maternal grandmother, Lou Wiley of Greenville; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ham of Greenville and great grandmother Johnnie Dail.
Patrick loved his family and had two sets of parents to love and be loved back; a little sister, Skylar, to pick on and protect. Patrick had many friends but it was Josh who was his lifelong friend. If mama couldn't find him she called Josh. For Patrick, working at Brown and Wood was a good time for Patrick. He loved working there and the folks he worked with! Gone at 20...such a loss!
Patrick Allen Ham was a gift to our family and the memories we will always cherish and fully realize how blessed we are as a family!
Memorial Service will be tonight at 6:30 p.m. at New Destiny Pentecostal Holiness Church in Greenville, with the Rev. Marc Swanner officiating. Visitation will follow after the service.
