Polly Elizabeth Ayers Obituary

WILLIAMSTON - Mrs. Polly Elizabeth Hodges Ayers, 82, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Wednesday in Martin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Ayers, a native of Pitt County, was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Pollard and John Abner Hodges. She spent most of her life in Martin County and was a member of the Christian Chapel Church of Christ.
Surviving are her sons, Donald D. Ayers and his wife, Debbie, of Kinston and Ronald D. Ayers of Richmond, Va.; daughter, Polly Ann A. Saban and her husband, Matias, of Williamston; grandsons, Juan Ramirez and Ceasar Hernandez; step-granddaughter, Sherri Lankster; sister, Lottie Forlines of Clayton; brothers-in-law, Warren Dave Ayers of Williamson and Willie Ayers and wife, Paulette, of Washington; and sister-in-law, Sally A. Williams and husband, Jack, of Washington.
The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Research Fund, ECU Medical Foundation, Mail Stop 659, 525 Moye Blvd., Greenville, NC 27834.
