Sue Skinner Obituary

AYDEN - Sue Oliver Skinner passed away on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at 7 p.m. at Little Creek Original Free Will Baptist Church.

A lifelong resident of Ayden, she was born on Nov. 7, 1952, to John and Alberta Oliver. She was preceded in death by sisters, Yvonne O. Ramirez and Ann O. Rohrabaugh. She worked at Rudy's Photography for 33 years and as a sales assistant at Hutcherson & Associates for the last 10 years.

As a member of Little Creek Original Free Will Baptist Church, she was a member of the Women's Auxillary, serving as treasurer for 14 years. This year, she was presented the Lifetime Member Award.

In addition to her husband, Donnie, she is survived by a sister, Betty Millner, of Lynchburg, Va.; two sisters-in-law, Alice Faye Wainwright and husband, Fred, and Penny Witherington and husband, Allen; one godson, Matthew King; two nephews, Keith Wainwright and Ashley Wainwright; and one niece, Karen Jacobs; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and also special companions, Bow and Tena.

Special thanks to Dr. Thomas Lee, his nurse, Austin, and other members of Physicians East. Also thanks to Carolina Home Health Hospice. A very special thanks to the many friends and sitters who helped heal the pain during this past year journey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Little Creek Original Free Will Baptist Church Building Expansion Fund, P.O. Box 54, Ayden, NC 28513.
