Wilson McDowell Obituary

Mr. Wilson McDowell, 79, of 1607 Lincoln Drive, Greenville, died Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 at Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville. Funeral service for Mr. McDowell will be held on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Sycamore Hill Missionary Baptist Church located at 1001 Hooker Road, Greenville. Burial to follow at Homestead Memorial Gardens. Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011 from 3-7 p.m. at Mitchell's Funeral Home Chapel located on 1000 Howell Street, Greenville.
Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell's Funeral Home, LLC.

Coach McDowell taught me driving in Driver“s Ed one summer when I was 14, going on 15. I am 58 now, and to this day, I remember what he taught me. I graduated from Rose High in 1981.
