Mark Collinson Obituary
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019, at First Christian Church in Keithsburg. Burial will be in Oquawka Cemetery. Following the graveside service is a time of food and fellowship at Mama's Place in Oquawka. Memorials may be left for Make-A-Wish or Shriners. Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo, is handling arrangements.
Mark Alan was born March 9, 1984, in Galesburg, the son of Michael Farquer and Teri Collinson. He graduated from Union High School in 2004. Marky's dream was to work with his mom. That dream came true when they worked together at Tweety's Hi-Way Tap in Keithsburg. Mark had an extensive elephant collection that numbered over 5,000 pieces. He loved people and showing his love to his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mom, Teri Collinson of Keithsburg; siblings, Michael K. Collinson of Kathleen, Georgia, Robert L. (Lyndsey) Morris Collinson of Abingdon and Jessica L. Collinson of Dayton, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Levi Stoneking, Seth Morris, Noah Morris and Katy Morris; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Myrtis and Lyle Collinson; grandma, Doris Cluney; special friend, Kevin McKee; and father, Mike Farquer.
