Wayne Ott Obituary
Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 25, at Williamsfield Cemetery. Rev. Jennifer Seder will officiate. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Williamsfield FFA Alumni. Rux Funeral Home in Williamsfield is in charge of arrangements.
He was born Jan. 8, 1936, in Dahinda, the son of William and Mildred (Morgan) Ott. He married Reta Ann Mackie on June 29, 1956, in Williamsfield and she preceded him in death on Nov. 3, 2009. Survivors include his three sons, Martie (Tina) Ott, Mark (Susan) Ott and Michael (Madolyn) Ott, all of Williamsfield; six grandchildren, Abigail (John) Gruber, Alexander (Kelsey), Samantha, Austin, Brayden and Gionna; three great-grandchildren, Rylee, McLean and Eloise; and his sister, Peggy (Mike) Shepard of Lakeland, Florida. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
Barney graduated from Williamsfield High School in 1954. He was a self-employed farmer all his life. He was an avid Billtown Bombers fan and enjoyed following the sporting events of his children and grandchildren. He greatly enjoyed visits from his family, many friends and especially his great-grandchildren.

God broke the mold when Barney was born. He was one of the nicest guys I've ever known. Prayers going out to his family. May he rest in peace.

When I would travel by Barney's home,I always looked forward to seeing him sitting outside in his chair in front of his home.I always knew Barney would wave when I honked.
