Ken was my first middle school principal when I joined Har-Bur Middle School. He understood his staff and students. We didn't always see eye to eye but we always worked for the benefit of the students. He was always willing to let me try innovative and sometimes crazy things with my students like developing a sledding lab. I even got him on a sled! Rest in peace my friend.

I greatly enjoyed working with Ken at Northwestern from 1977 to 1989. He had a good relationship with students and staff. I personally enjoyed running and cross-country skiing with KP. He will be missed.

Thea i´m so sorry to hear about your dad you probably don´t remember me but I worked in the house that he had in Torrington and worked under him in the middle school in my early days of teaching. I totally respected his commitment to education , And saddened by his departure.
