Nildo Rambaldi Obituary
Nildo Rambaldi, longtime Torrington Real Estate agent/resident, passed away on Sept. 25th at the age of 91, peacefully. Surivived by Neil, Lynn and David+ 4 grandkids, he once donated land starting at the end of Mt. Pleasant Terrace to Washington Ave., now owned by the city, it can never be developed--so the woods my grandfather hunted in, that he played in as a child, as did I and my children, will remain a haven for light and good--forever. Please go visit these woods when you need to find peace; sit by Angel's Rock at the brook, and think of the man who made it all possible. My dad.

Neil and I were best friends when we were kids. His father, Nildo, was so kind to me. He liked to play around a lot. When I left Neil's house to go home, he would wait until i got a little ways down the block and yell and wave for me to come back. So I would and he would say: "How far towards home would you be right now if you hadn't come back?" He was character, all good. Took us fishing, made dinners for us...just a great man. Saddened of his passing. Belated condolences to Neil and his family. RIP Nildo and thank you for being so kind to me as a kid.

He was a good man and a great uncle. I cannot tell how nice it was being a kid- getting woke up by him at 3:30 in the morning togo fishing . Having good memories of a man is a wonderful thing.

Nildo was a great person i grew up with his Sons we all were in the same neighborhood he was a kind, generous and giving Man , my condolences to his whole Family and Friends alike , God Bless Nildo on his Journey Home to be with our Lord

I was a paperboy back in the 50's and Nildo was one of my customers. He always greeted me with a smile and kind words. Rest in peace Nildo.

Mr. Rambaldi was an honorable and decent man. He always had a good word for us neighborhood kids. We liked the whole family the entire time he lived near us. Rest In Peace sir.
