Robert Angelo Scalice was born on August 8, 1935 to Joseph Scalice and Mary Corsino in Manhattan, New York City. He passed on September 30, 2025, at age 90. As a physician in private practice, he served the community of Torrington, CT for twenty-two years. Robert's life was always one of devotion to his patients and beloved family. Caring for others brought joy and purpose to his life.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 57 years, Patricia Fransen Scalice, as well as his treasured daughters Melanie and Daniella, and their respective partners John Rocha and Dr. Michael Meyer. He also leaves five nephews and nieces, their spouses, many grand and great-grandnieces and nephews, and eleven godchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis Church at 160 Main Street in Torrington at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025. All who knew him are welcome.

Pat and family. So sorry to read this. Remember when you and Bob came back to Torrington. It was a positive move and he was a wonderful addition to our medical community. He was Tom´s Dad´s doctor for years. Our paths crossed again when our daughter and her family moved to Gloucester. Remember our first time going to Sunday Mass and who should be "passing the basket" but Bob! Sending prayers for all of you.
