He gave us light where there were darkness, he gave us fact where speculation ran wildly, he was a scholar of great magnitude, and a friend of enormous wisdom and wonder.

We of AAPS (Ancient Artifact Preservation Society) are thankful to have had Carl share is knowledge and friendship with us at 5 of our annual Conferences on Ancient America. He was certainly interesting to talk with, and fun too. Last time we saw him, Oct. 2018, he gave his farewell presentation, and the audience kindly held onto every word, and gave him a standing ovation, for that talk, and more....just for being himself, and for all that he researched and shared with us and thousands more. We are glad he had a big life, and is now with his loved ones gone before. Bless you Carl! Judy M Johnson, Sec./Events Planner, AAPS
