I was shocked to see that Ffiona has passed to the other side of the veil.
I had been working with Daughters of the Moon deck for years, loved it and, living in Austria, deeply wished it could be translated into German.
I ended up becoming Ffiona`s translator for the Daughters of the Moon Tarot by running into Ffiona, while she was selling the deck and cristal pendants on a Goddess Festival in California.
First I didn´t know it was her. But when I enthusiastically went on and on about this wonderful tarot, her grin became wider and wider - and suddenly I realized: "Are you Ffiona Morgan?", I asked in complete awe of this coincidence. She nodded, quite amused and invited me and my partner to her place in Sebastopol in California.
I remember an amazing time we spent with her, filled with laughter, talks, gazing into the starlit sky, sitting in her whirlpool; and of full moon rituals on the Pacific beach.
The result of this time with her was the German version of the DOM deck, published by Urania, a renowned publishing company for German speaking countries.
We also invited Ffiona to do workshops in Austria. She consented and quite a number of women were able to partake in her knowledge and wisdom.
Thank you, Ffiona Morgan, for everything that you shared with us!
Even if you are just a thought away on the other side of the veil - I am very sorry that I couldn´t thank you, while you were still around.
I do hope, that you will be back soon to help Mother Earth and all Her beings in Her time of transition, birthing Herself anew.
So I wish a merry meet and merry part and merry meet again, dear Wise Woman!

I'm so glad I got to know Ffiona at the Wild Women Coffee Club in Eugene. She was creative and artistic: she showed me her Tarot cards and beautiful jewelry she made and sold. We used to talk about going to London to march in that gay pride parade and about a trip to Greece to enjoy the isle of Lesbos and the women who gather there. Ffiona was adventurous, enthusiastic and ever the activist. I will always remember her spunk and her passion for building inclusive communities of women. I'm sorry she's gone. I will miss her.
