I also think of Josh with kids on his shoulders, running around happily on the Sheldon Community Center playground

Josh was a kind soul. I knew him in his teen years and appreciated his eagerness to work with children. Josh left his legacy with all of us and specially the children he worked with each day.

I met Josh at our gym a number of years ago. CrossFit has a way of bonding all different types of people together and Josh and I were no exception. I enjoyed every single day that we worked out together or grabbed something to eat with friends after a tough wod. I remember this photo being from a fun birthday workout for him back in 2014. Each person here showed up specifically to celebrate Josh. We lost touch over the last couple of years, but I thought about him often and will miss him dearly.

Josh was such a bright light wherever he went. His smile was contagious and genuine. He had a heart of gold. I really enjoyed teaching with him at Sheldon and becoming his friend. When you meet a person like Josh; they leave an impact on your heart. You are deeply missed my friend. Fly high in heaven.
