Kenneth Homer Obituary
Kenneth Alfred Homer of Creswell passed away from natural causes at age 85 in Grant, NM 3-23-12. He was born 6-30-26 in PA to Mr. & Mrs. William A. Homer. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Anthony as a naval boiler tender during World War II. After his military service he was a millworker and on 6-26-1948 he was married to Edith Florence Moore in Springfield. Two of his favorite things were his pride in his military service and of course, his yellow 1961 Studebaker Lark. You could always recognize him by his tilted hat.
He is proceeded in death by his wife, Edith Homer & survived by his 2 children, Ginger Marinos of Springfield & Kenneth Homer of Grant, NM. He has 1 grandson, Mike Butler of Springfield & 2 great-grandchildren, Zach & Katie Butler, both of Eugene.
